In Greene County district court Randy Jason Milliken, 56, of Otho was fined $100 with a $35 surcharge after he pleaded guilty to a charge of unlawful betting (simple misdemeanor), amended from gambling- cheat or alter outcome of game (Class D felony). Persons pleaded not guilty at arraignment during the week ending Oct. 24 as follows: Jon Richard Harvey, 51, of Lake George, MN, operating while intoxicated- third offense; and Judy Ann Richardson, 54 of West Des Moines, OWI- second offense. Trial dates were set for Dec. 4 in both cases.
Cases were initiated as follows: Nathaniel James Biggart, 21, of Jefferson, unauthorized use of credit card less than $1,000 (two counts); Daniel Eduardo Westrum, 41, of Des Moines, forgery; Travis Christopher Fincel, 44, of Grand Junction, theft- fourth degree, and in a separate case, possession of methamphetamine- third or subsequent offense; ; Katelynn Jean Fees, 21, of Jamaica, possession of marijuana- first offense; and Thomas Edward Young Jr, 43, of Grand Junction, domestic abuse assault causing injury.
